Over the last year, the COVID-19 pandemic has undoubtedly increased the need for the use of technology for private, professional and educational purposes.

While this has been challenging for everyone, many people with a more limited knowledge of modern technology have been left struggling to carry out what would have previously been basic everyday tasks.

Realising this need for extra support, the team at our Madrid office joined forces with the Reutiliza.K initiative, which promotes – among other programmes – technology training for senior citizens.

We donated computers, screens, keyboards, mice, chargers, cameras and cables to the La Calle Cultural Association, which will not only help to reduce the digital gap, but also support the circular economy through the reuse and recycling of electronic devices.

At Cubico, we are committed to the sustainable development of our business and reducing our ecological footprint.

The efficient management of shared assets and natural resources and the way in which waste products and pollutants are disposed of are vital to achieving this goal.

As a renewable energy company with sustainability at its heart, it is highly important that we adopt measures to recycle and reduce waste, as well as move towards sustainable consumption patterns.
