Cubico Sustainable Investments – 2025 CEC Best Practice Charter Report

As a voluntary signatory to the Clean Energy Council’s Best Practice Charter, Cubico is committed to embedding respectful, transparent and community-focused engagement across all our Australian renewable energy projects.

Our 2025 Best Practice Charter Report highlights how we are putting the Charter’s 10 commitments into action on the ground. This includes working closely with local communities, Traditional Owners, landholders and councils to ensure our projects deliver long-term benefits and positive outcomes for the regions where we operate.

Highlights from the 2025 Report

Early and ongoing engagement
We continue to engage early with communities and Traditional Owners across all project locations, ensuring local voices inform planning and development.

Community-driven project design
Feedback from residents has shaped key elements of our proposed Middle Creek Energy Hub and Marmadua Energy Park, improving local outcomes and delivering preferred design options.

Strengthening regional economies
At Wambo Wind Farm, we are partnering with local suppliers and contractors to support regional jobs and economic activity.

Investing in community wellbeing
Through grants, sponsorships and long-term benefit programs, we are supporting local events, training initiatives and resilience-building partnerships across southern Queensland.

Leading on sustainability
We are progressing circular-economy opportunities, including a concept study into a potential turbine recycling facility in the Western Downs.
