Given that London is the location of our headquarters, as well as our Uxbridge office, we are always keen to explore meaningful ways in which we can actively contribute to social and environmental wellbeing in the city.

Despite being famous for its historic buildings and bustling streets, London is among the greenest capital cities on the planet and was last year named as the world’s first National Park City.

With this in mind and after taking feedback from our employees, towards the end of 2019 we partnered with the London Wildlife Trust as our charity of choice in the United Kingdom.

The London Wildlife Trust is the only charity dedicated to the conservation of the city’s wild spaces and looks after more than 40 nature reserves, as well as supporting landowners and other groups to manage many others.

Our work with the charity started with the organisation of a volunteering day at Camley Street Natural Park, a nature reserves managed by the London Wildlife Trust.

The volunteering day, which took place in January 2020, saw members of our team wrap up warm to visit the reserve to help manage its ecosystems and share knowledge on the importance of conservation.

Our team enjoyed a range of activities including tending to various trees and vegetation, tidying meadow and woodland areas and helping to upgrade facilities in the reserves.

These initiatives and corporate partnerships are essential in enabling the important work of organisations like the London Wildlife Trust to continue.

We hope that our efforts will help to ensure that future generations are given the opportunity to enjoy the wonders of nature, even in busy urban cities like London.
